Wimbledon 2012: Andy Murray Advances Despite Rain

After having his match postponed on Monday due to rain, Andy Murray finally had a chance to advance to the quarterfinal round of the 2012 Wimbledon tournament by defeating Milan Cilic in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2, 6-3.

Murray entered the Tuesday make-up leading Cilic and was irritated with all the starting and stopping that occurred prior to the match's resolution.

Via ESPN.com:

"We stopped obviously a lot," Murray said. "You're always a little bit edgy when you come out after a rain delay when you have the momentum with you. You stop, and then you come back out, and it feels a bit like you start from scratch again. I needed to serve well today and I got a lot of free points that helped me out."

There is rain in the Tuesday forecast. In fact, there is a chance of rain all week.

A bracket with schedule information can be found at Wimbledon's home page.
