Serena Williams is determined to win yet another Grand Slam title and it showed in the first set of her Wimbledon final against Agnieszka Radwanska as she won it handily, 6-1.
Williams and Radwanska are a contrast in styles as Williams uses power and an almost unhittable first serve versus a precision, finesse game put on the court by Radwanska.
Williams is playing in her seventh Wimbledon final while this is Radwanska's first and it has showed in the early stages of their match. Williams was focused and Radwanska seemed a bit overwhelmed by the stage and the power of Williams.
Williams is playing some of the best tennis she's played in a long time, as she's fought her way back from some injuries. She is searching for her fifth Wimbledon title.
After a 36 minutes first set, the tarp was brought out due to rain and moisture on the court. We will return with more updates as soon as play resumes.
