The Detroit Tigers dropped Sunday's series finale to the Texas Rangers, but they don't have much time to worry about that loss considering they start a new series on Monday against the Minnesota Twins at Target Field. The game is scheduled to begin at 8:10 p.m. and will be broadcast on Fox Sports Detroit.

Anibal Sanchez will start for the Tigers in his first appearance since giving up seven runs in three innings in last week's 12-8 loss to the New York Yankees. It's been a bit hit-or-miss for Sanchez since the Tigers acquired him considering he looked much better on Aug. 3 against the Cleveland Indians, giving up just one run in six innings on his way to helping Detroit to a 10-2 victory.

The Twins will start Samuel Deduno -- a young pitcher who is 3-0 in the majors this season -- as they look to try and hand the Tigers their fifth loss in six games.
