The Barclays Leaderboard: Sergio Garcia, Nick Watney Tied For Lead Heading Into Weekend

With the second round of The Barclays in the books, Sergio Garcia and Nick Watney sit on top the leaderboard at 8-under-par.

Watney and Garcia are trailed by Vijay Singh and Bob Estes, who sit a stroke behind at 7-under. John Senden and Pat Perez are two back at 6-under and four golfers including Tiger Woods, who shot a 69 on Friday, are three back from the lead at 5-under-par.

Luke Donald, Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy all sit currently at even par, while notables such as Jim Furyk, Keegan Bradley and Graeme McDowell failed to make the cut.

Michigan native Tom Gillis made it to the weekend at 1-under after shooting a 72 on Friday.

Garcia began his round with birdies on three of the first five holes, with the lone blemish coming on a bogey on the third. Watney, on the other hand, eagled the par 5 fourth hole and had four additional birdies to go along with four bogeys for his second round 69.
