Michigan State Basketball Schedule For 2012-13 Announced

The Michigan State Spartans, along with the rest of the Big Ten, have released their basketball schedule for the 2012-13 season.

The Michigan State Spartans have a difficult and eventful schedule for their basketball team this upcoming season. They'll play games in Germany and Jenison Fieldhouse, and they've got a full slate of nonleague play. The game in Germany is the season opener at the Ramstein Air Base on Nov. 9 against Connecticut. Just four days after that game, the Spartans will take on Kansas in the Champions Classic in Atlanta.

On Thursday, the Spartans released their full schedule, going along with the rest of the Big Ten, which released its entire schedule. There's still some holes to be filled in - namely the dates and TV schedules for Big Ten games.

There's the Nov. 28 matchup with the Miami Hurricanes in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Nov. 28 to look forward to in regards to nonleague play. There's also the two home exhibition games against Northwood (Fla.) and St. Cloud State on Oct. 30 and Nov. 2, respectively.

For the Big Ten, there's the tough matchups - two games apiece against Indiana, Michigan and Ohio State, against one game apiece with Penn State, Northwestern, Iowa and Illinois. You can find the full schedule for their season here, though dates and TV schedules aren't totally set at this time.
