The first round of the Deutsche Bank Championship begins on Friday at TPC Boston, and only the top 100 players in the FedEx Cup points list qualify for the event. The Deutsche Bank Championship will run through the weekend and end on Labor Day, and Pontiac-native Tom Gillis hopes to make his mark on the tournament. Gillis is paired with Brendon de Jonge and John Rollins, and the trio will tee off from hole No. 10 at 12:22 p.m. ET on Friday afternoon.
Fans can watch the first round of the tournament live streaming on the PGA Tour's official website starting at 12:30 p.m. ET, and television coverage of the tournament will be provided by the Golf Channel starting at 12:30 p.m.
