A monster start by Tigers Woods has him tied for the lead in the first round at the 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship in Massachusetts.
Woods birdied the first five holes before making par on No. 6. Woods finished shooting a 7-under 64. He is tied atop the leaderboard with Jeff Overton, who birdied six of the last seven holes.
Ryan Moore is alone in third place at 6-under through the first nine holes. Pontiac native Tom Gillis is 2-under through 10 holes. He started on the back nine and has made four birdies to two bogeys.
Among other notable names, Phil Mickelson is 1-under through eight holes, Rory McIlroy is even par through six holes and Ian Poulter and Dustin Johnson shot a 4-under 67.
