Tigers Playoff Tickets To Go On Sale Thursday Morning

Detroit Tigers playoff tickets for both the American League Divisional Series and the Wild Card round go on sale Thursday morning at 10 a.m. ET.

The Tigers would not qualify for the postseason as of this moment, but the playoff picture should be cleaner after the Tigers' four-game series with the White Sox starting Monday. Detroit is two games back of Chicago.

In the Wild Card, Detroit chances are much more bleak. Two teams make the playoffs via Wild Card, but the Tigers stand in fifth place and 4.5 games back of the second spot. The two teams ahead of Detroit, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the Tampa Bay Rays, are only one game back of the second spot.

Should Detroit win the division and make the playoffs, they will likely have the worst record of any division winner, behind the Texas Rangers and New York Yankees, so would therefore host the first two games of the Divisional series.
