South African-born golfer Louis Oosthuizen stole the show on Sunday afternoon at the 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship, as the former British Open champ fired a third round score of 63 to take a three-stroke lead heading into Monday.
The 29-year-old Oosthuizen birdied an unprecedented eight of his first 10 holes to open the day with a flurry, and finished with an 8-under score of 63 to reach 19-under for the tournament. Oosthuizen's round of 63 tied Keegan Bradley for the single lowest of the afternoon, and tied a handful of other players for the second-best of the week behind Seung Yul-Noh's round of 62 on Friday.
Lurking behind Oosthuizen on the leaderboard is a familiar face in Rory McIlroy at 16-under par, while both Dustin Johnson and Tiger Woods each remain well within striking distance at 13-under. Woods could only muster one birdie on TPC Boston's three par-5's on Sunday, but managed to card his second consecutive round of 68 to stay in the hunt.
