Brandt Snedeker entered this past weekend's Tour Championship in fifth place in the FedEx Cup standings, behind luminaries such as Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy. But that all changed with Snedeker's victory at the Tour Championship, which propelled him to the top of the FedEx Cup standings and earned him a $10 million bonus check.

Snedeker, who won the tournament by three shots over Justin Rose, was only one of a handful of golfers on Sunday to shoot under par. Thanks to the six-under 64 he shot on Saturday and his strong play on Sunday, Snedeker's lead was so large heading into the 18th hole that it didn't matter when he yanked his final tee shot into the grandstands. The result was a two-under 68 for the day and his fourth win on the Tour.

For winning the Tour Championship, Snedeker pocketed $1.4 million to go along with the prize for winning the FedEx Cup, which is determined by points earned over the course of the year. Snedeker's earnings on the Tour totaled close to $15 million in 2012.
