2012 BMW Championship: Johnson And Scott Climbing As Leaders Hit The Course

The third round of the 2012 BMW Championship is underway, and the leaders are about to head out onto the course. Vijay SIngh sits alone atop the leaderboard at 13-under, with Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Ryan Moore sitting a stroke behind at 12-under.

Zach Johnson, Adam Scott, and Dustin Johnson have all started the third round with birdies to climb into the top ten of the leaderboard. Jim Furyk sits 2-under through the first six holes as he's closed to within six strokes of the lead. Phil Mickelson started out with a pair of pars, but he's bogeyed the third hole to drop to 7-under par for the tournament.

Michigan native Tom Gillis just got his third round underway. He made par on the first hole and currently sits in a tie for fifteenth, five strokes off the lead.
