The Lions have parted ways with two cornerbacks, releasing Dante Wesley and Paul Pratt.

↵

Wesley was let go originally during the final round of roster cuts back on Sept. 4. He was brought back at the end of September to help with special teams before being let ago again on Tuesday.

Pratt was on the Lions' practice squad up until this past Sunday. He was signed before the Giants game and got action on special teams.

Originally it looked like cornerback Jack Williams, who is coming off the PUP list, would take either Wesley's or Pratt's spot on the roster. He has not actually been activated yet, though. For now he is simply practicing with the Lions, which have three weeks to decide on whether they want to activate him, waive him or simply put him on injured reserve.
