Lions Vs. Redskins: Jahvid Best Practices Without Limitation

Just as expected, it appears Jahvid Best will be good to go for Sunday's game against the Redskins. He practiced on Wednesday without limitation after spending Tuesday's practice confined to the sideline.

Rookie running back Jahvid Best returned to practice today, taking part in the individual drills and also running plays with the offensive unit. Best (turf toe) only did some running on the side during Tuesday's workout.

DeAndre Levy practiced again, although he apparently doesn't look 100%. If he is unable to practice, Landon Johnson would probably start in his place. He wouldn't be the only backup in the lineup, though. Zack Follett is expected to be out this week as he continues to recover from a neck injury. Ashlee Palmer is practicing with the first-team defense in place of Follett, so it looks like Palmer will start on Sunday.

It was originally thought that Bobby Carpenter, who signed with the Lions last week, would start in Follett's place, but it looks like Palmer will go instead. Carpenter is in the two-deep, though, as he was practicing with the second-team defense today.
