The Detroit Lions are apparently already happy with their April trade that acquired Rob Sims from the Seattle Seahawks.
↵Pro Football Talk is reporting (which has been confirmed by MLive.com's Tom Kowalski) that the Lions have signed the offensive guard to a four-year contract extension.
↵The Lions traded a fifth-round pick to get Sims from Seattle. The 26-year-old has started all four games at left guard.
↵Sims is in his fifth year out of Ohio State, and was the Seahawks' fourth-round selection in 2006. He started 34 out of 45 games in his four seasons for Seattle.
