Lions Sign Rob Sims To Four-Year Contract Extension

The Detroit Lions are apparently already happy with their April trade that acquired Rob Sims from the Seattle Seahawks

Pro Football Talk is reporting (which has been confirmed by's Tom Kowalski) that the Lions have signed the offensive guard to a four-year contract extension.

The Lions traded a fifth-round pick to get Sims from Seattle. The 26-year-old has started all four games at left guard.

Sims is in his fifth year out of Ohio State, and was the Seahawks' fourth-round selection in 2006. He started 34 out of 45 games in his four seasons for Seattle.
