Lions Trail Dolphins, 17-10, At Halftime

Putting Shaun Hill back in the lineup at quarterback hasn’t generated much offense for the Detroit Lions so far versus the Miami Dolphins. The Lions have generated only 91 yards of total offense, and trail the Dolphins, 17-10, at halftime.

Chad Henne hit Davone Bess for a 13-yard touchdown pass with 30 seconds left in the first half to give Miami the lead. Henne has completed 16-of-22 passes for 146 yards thus far.

For the Lions, Hill has passed for 62 yards, completing 5-of-8 passes. He threw a 20-yard touchdown to tight end Brandon Pettigrew early in the second quarter.

Cornerback Chris Houston was lost to an apparent shoulder injury in the second quarter. His return is questionable.
