2011 NFL Draft Order: Detroit Lions Will Pick 13th Or 14th

The 2011 NFL Draft order is nearly set. There is only one game left on the NFL schedule, which is the NFC West showdown between the Seahawks and Rams. The winner of the game will go to the playoffs, and believe it or not, the loser could end up picking ahead of the Detroit Lions. A game between teams playing for a division title usually doesn't have an effect on the Lions' slot in the draft order, but that is the case this year.

If the Seattle Seahawks win tonight against the St. Louis Rams, the Lions will pick 13th in the 2011 NFL Draft. If St. Louis wins, however, the Lions will pick 14th. The Seahawks would have a 6-10 record (the same as the Lions' record) with a loss, and because Detroit's strength of schedule is higher, Seattle would pick before them, pushing the Lions down a spot to 14th.

After the jump is a look at the 2011 NFL Draft order scenarios.
