2012 NFL Pro Bowl Fan Vote Commences, Several Detroit Lions Worthy

The 2012 NFL Pro Bowl fan vote is underway as of Tuesday morning, so be sure to head on over and vote for the players you think are deserving (in other words, your favorites) to be in the big game. "Big game" is an odd little term, because the game itself is usually rather boring and its the actual honor that means something to the players and fans (though it seems to be diminishing in splendor of late). So, in lieu of a million screaming Tim Tebow fans voting him in after one game, you should go vote for whoever you want!

The Detroit Lions do have a lot of worthy candidates, from an unbiased standpoint. Matthew Stafford doesn't have the yardage totals, but he does have 16 touchdowns against just four interceptions and has led his team to a 5-2 record and second place in the division, behind only the Green Bay Packers. Calvin Johnson got to the best start of any wide receiver in NFL history through the first five games and, in all honesty, should be a shoe-in. Don't forget about guys like Ndamukong Suh, Cliff Avril and Kyle Vanden BoschHead on over to vote.
