With the good news that Matthew Stafford was back in practice on Wednesday, and taking first-team reps on Thursday, came some bad news on Wednesday night that Jahvid Best was probably going to miss his second-straight game, this one against the Denver Broncos. Now, The Detroit News is reporting that Best didn't practice on Thursday and that Best is doubtful for Sunday.
The official injury report won't be out until Friday, but with Best still suffering from concussion-symptoms (aka, a concussion), it's likely that he'll miss the game, even if cleared to play. With the rumors on Wednesday, and another day missed in practice, it's mounting evidence against his availability on Sunday against the Broncos.
Best was injured in a game against the San Francisco 49ers, and missed last week's defeat against the Atlanta Falcons, both games are the only two games Detroit has lost this season, so his presence as a playmaker in both the running and passing game is definitely missed.
