After the Denver Broncos jumped out to a 3-0 lead, Detroit answered when Matthew Stafford found Titus Young open over the middle for a 41-yard scoring strike. Stafford has been on point thus far, completing 7-9 passes and showing no ill-effects from his ankle injury despite being sacked once.
Tim Tebow has taken some hits already and completed just 2-8 passes while being sacked twice.. The Broncos have been able to move the ball on the ground though highlighted by a 34-yard run by Lance Ball. A 39 yard field goal by Matt Prater accounts for the scoring output thus far by the Broncos.
Lions kicker Jason Hanson kicked a 50-yard field goal at the start of the second quarter the push the Lions up 10-3.
So far Matthew Stafford has spread the ball around, throwing to four different receivers although he has yet to utilize his biggest weapon in Calvin Johnson.
