Lions Vs. Bears Score Update: Chicago Leads Detroit 37-6 After Third Quarter

Things turned ugly early in the third quarter for the Detroit Lions as the Chicago Bears continued to cash in Detroit miscues for points as they take a 37-6 lead into the fourth quarter.

Matthew Stafford shoulders the brunt of the blame for letting the game get out of control early in the third quarter after he threw two interceptions on back-to-back possessions that Chicago returned for touchdowns.

After the Lions defense delivered a three and out to start the half, the Lions offense took over at their own 20 yard line. The first pick six came two plays later as Stafford missed his receiver on the wrong side of an out route, instead hitting Chicago defensive back Major Wright in the numbers allowing him to run the pick back for a touchdown without being touched.

On the next possession, Stafford missed his man again as Chicago defensive back Charles Tillman caught the ball in stride and returned it 44 yards for another touchdown. A Robbie Gould 50-yard field goal would complete the scoring for Chicago.
