After suffering a tough loss in Chicago that put their wild card hopes in danger the Detroit Lions took a major fall in this week's SB Nation NFL Power Rankings. Joel Thorman dropped the Lions from the No. 6 spot to the No. 11 spot this week, and questions if something more may be wrong in Detroit:
11. Detroit Lions (6-3, LW: 6): Are the wheels starting to fall off in Detroit? They're 1-3 since starting 5-0. Hopefully they find their rhythm before Thanksgiving day against the Packers.
Detroit should have a chance to regain some momentum this week when the Carolina Panthers come to Ford Field. The Panthers are only 2-7 and sit at the No. 28 spot in this week's rankings. After that, the Lions have a short week before hosting the undefeated Packers on Thanksgiving Day. Detroit does still have two games left against the defending champs, so there is time and opportunity to make up ground in the division.
