Fantasy Football Advice Week 9: Calvin Johnson Replacements

For more on the Lions, Visit SB Nation's Pride of Detroit

With the Detroit Lions on bye this week many fantasy football owners lucky enough to have Calvin Johnson on their rosters are looking for replacement receivers to play this week. This late in the season such replacements can be difficult to find, but there are a few options to be had while "Megatron" rests this week.

Micheal Crabtree - Crabtree has largely been a disappointment in his career so far, but as the 49ers have come around, so has Crabtree. The past two weeks he has had 14 catches for 131 yards and a score. Last week against Cleveland he had five catches for 54 yards and a score.

Jon Baldwin - Baldwin was a first round selection by the Chiefs, but he hasn't done a whole lot until Monday night's game against San Diego. He had five catches for 82 yards and a score, and he gets to face the winless Dolphins this week.

Jerome Simpson - Simpson has been the number two receiver on the Bengals, who have very quietly gotten off to a 5-2 start. He could see increased action going forward, but bear in mind that Cincinnati has the heart of its schedule (read: the Steelers and Bengals) coming up.
