As expected, the Lions will be without running back Jahvid Best this week when the Lions take on the Panthers. Maurice Morris will get the majority of the carries at running back.
The Lions will also be without two of their big defensive ends, Willie Young and Lawrence Jackson. The news means that Ndamukong Suh or even Nick Fairley could see time at defensive end today.
Cornerback Aaron Berry is out because he woke up this morning under the weather.
