Lions Vs. Packers Score Update: Green Bay Leads 24-0 Going Into Fourth After Matthew Stafford Interceptions

The Green Bay Packers received the second half kickoff, and started moving down the field, with a couple of first downs, including a 26 yard reception to tight end Jermichael Finley. Another first down completion went to Donald Driver, and the Packers eventually had a first and goal, with seven yards to go until pay dirt. But another false start is called on the Packers, the second one on the opening drive, and it brought up a second down. Green Bay picks up a couple yards, and on third, the endzone pass to Driver is overthrown, and the Lions get the stop. But Ndamukong Suh is flagged for unnecessary roughness when he pushes a Packers player into the ground repeatedly, before stomping after getting up - and he's ejected afterward.

That set up the Packers with a fresh set of downs, and John Kuhn punched it in from a couple yards out, giving the Packers a 14-0 lead after the Mason Crosby extra point. On the very next drive, Matthew Stafford was picked off and Green Bay was set up with a new drive. It didn't take long, as Rodgers hit James Jones for a 65 yard catch and run for a touchdown, putting them quickly up by three scores.

If you blinked, you missed the Lions getting the ball back and Stafford throwing his third interception of the day, this one to Charles Woodson, who makes a great play to jump in front of Brandon Pettigrew. Fortunately for the Lions, they force a fumble on Rodgers and though Bryan Bulaga recovered it, the damage was done and the Packers had to settle for a field goal, which was good from just over twenty yards, giving the Packers a 24-0 lead.

The third quarter came to an end with the Lions getting the ball and having run a couple plays.
