Week 9 NFL Power Rankings: NFC North Going Up And Up

The Detroit Lions are moving up or holding steady in most major Week 9 NFL power rankings. Their destruction of the Denver Broncos on Sunday looked like a lot of frustration being slowly let out. Now how about the rest of the NFC North division? Well, for the most part, they're trending upward right alongside the Lions.

Green Bay Packers

There's not much else that needs to be said about the Packers. Aaron Rodgers is amazing and they're currently undefeated. As such, they're sitting at the very top of every respectable power rankings list. It doesn't look like they're going to fall any time soon.

Chicago Bears

Despite coming off a bye week, the Bears did move up in one list of power ranking - they sit at number 13 on SB Nation's list. ESPN has them set the highest, at No. 10, three sports higher than the next highest. CBS Sports has them set at No. 16, the lowest, but all are in agreement that the Bears and namely Matt Forte, are on the up-and-up.

Minnesota Vikings

Christian Ponder has sparked this offense big time. He's given weapons like Adrian Peterson and Percy Harvin a reliable signal caller to get things done and keep the offense moving. After their win over the Carolina Panthers, they're moving up power rankings. Both FOX Sports and ESPN have them at 23, up a few spots, while SB Nation and CBS Sports have them at 25 - also up a few spots.
