The New Orleans Saints will host the Detroit Lions on Sunday Night Football this week as they work to stay atop their division standings. The Lions will be without Ndamukong Suh, which should help a bit, along with the fact that the Saints final injury report for Week 13 didn't show too many major issues.
Jonathan Vilma, the team's defensive leader and best linebacker, is probable for the game against the Lions. Vilma has missed the Saints' past four games with a knee injury and was limited in practice all week. Cornerback Jabari Greer joins Vilma as probable with a knee injury while defensive end Tom Johnson was able to practice all week despite an elbow injury.
Defensive end Turk McBride is the only other player listed on the injury report for the Saints. The big man was unable to practice all week and is therefore ruled out for the Lions game.
