Madden NFL 12 Roster Updates, Week 16: Detroit Lions Have Three Increases

The Week 16 roster update for Madden NFL 12 is going live, and for the Detroit Lions fans, that's definitely a good thing. At this point in the season, the changes are mostly whittled down to changes in player overall rating and not much else. Not only do the number of changes go down, but the number of players increasing or decreasing in rating actually takes a dive for a myriad of reasons.

Either way, the only changes for Detroit are changes to overall rating, and that's a good thing for them, because all three of said changes are increases. Better still is the fact that all three changes are of pretty big significance. Wide receiver Calvin Johnson, after being named the NFC offensive player of the week, goes back up from 96 to 97 overall, once again getting closer to the coveted 99 overall rating. For the other two changes, make the jump.

Increases

QB Matthew Stafford 87 to 88
WR CalvinJohnson 96 to 97
DL Cliff Avril 86 to 87
