The Detroit Lions have not won at Lambeau Field in 20 years, but with the Packers possibly resting their starters in advance of the playoffs this could be an excellent chance for Detroit to earn a win. The Lions don't have a lot to play for, having already clinched a playoff berth, but a win would guarantee the No. 5 seed and a trip to either New York or Dallas instead of New Orleans or San Francisco. SB Nation's odds partner Oddsshark has the Lions as a three-point favorite as a result:
On Dec. 15, 1991, when Detroit beat the Packers for the third straight time at Lambeau Field, they had no idea it would be a generation before it happened again.Since then, the Lions have lost 20 straight at Green Bay and only covered the spread five times.
The Lions may favor a trip to the NFC East winner, as they already have a victory over Dallas this year compared to losses against San Francisco and New Orleans.
