To determine which player should be on the cover of Madden 12, EA Sports is holding an NCAA tournament style vote on ESPN.com. Aside from Seattle, which is represented by "The 12th Man" (its fans), each team has a player in the bracket. The first round of voting began on Monday and continues through tomorrow.
↵The Detroit Lions' representative is defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who somehow is one of the two No. 16 seeds. He is matched up against division rival Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers. Obviously this is a tough matchup for Suh since Rodgers is a No. 1 seed, but like Suh said on Twitter, it would be nice if he could sack Rodgers one more time this season.
↵If Suh wins the vote, he will advance to the second round and go up against the winner of the Sam Bradford/Larry Fitzgerald matchup. If he loses, then at the very least the cover curse won't be able to directly affect the Lions in 2011.
