Next Friday (April 29), the second and third rounds of the 2011 NFL Draft will take place in New York City. After having commissioner Roger Goodell announce the picks made in the first round on Thursday, the NFL will go in a different direction on Friday by having former players announce their teams' picks in the second round.
The Detroit Lions' representative for their second-round pick announcement is set to be former running back Barry Sanders. He will join the likes of Franco Harris and Marshall Faulk as representatives for their former teams.
