Jim Schwartz Wants You To Nickname The Lions' Defensive Line

The Detroit Lions' defensive line was already filled with talent before the 2011 NFL Draft. After adding Nick Fairley with the 13th overall pick, it's safe to say the Lions' D-line is one of the most talented in all of football. With Ndamukong Suh, Fairley, Cliff Avril, Kyle Vanden Bosch and many talented depth players on the defensive line, they could comprise one of the most feared units in all of football.

Nicknames for great defensive lines have been around for a long time, as pointed out by Jim Schwartz on Twitter on Thursday. The Vikings had the "Purple People Eaters," The Colts had the "Sack Pack" and the Lions had the "Silver Rush" back in the late 70s and early 80s. Now Schwartz wants fans to come up with a nickname for his defensive line.

My favorite is "The Disassembly Line" idea that many suggested after the draft, and based on a quick search on Twitter, it seems to still be the most popular suggestion.
