ESPN has posted the Madden 12 ratings for the Detroit Lions. The overall team rating for the Lions is only a 76, which seems pretty low. Then again, looking over the roster, quite a few ratings seem pretty low, so it's no surprise the overall team rating is stuck in the 70s.
↵As the season progresses the ratings will change in the roster updates provided by EA Sports. The hope is the Lions will be playing well enough to see their ratings in Madden get a boost. For now, though, here's a look at what the ratings are for some players in the rosters that are launching with the game:
↵QB Matthew Stafford - 80 overall, 97 throw power, 81 throw accuracy, 65 injury
↵RB Jahvid Best - 80 overall, 96 speed
↵WR Calvin Johnson - 93 overall, 95 speed, 99 jump
↵TE Brandon Pettigrew - 81 overall, 73 speed
↵DT Ndamukong Suh - 89 overall
↵DT Corey Williams - 86 overall
↵LB DeAndre Levy - 77 overall
↵FS Louis Delmas - 84 overall
↵There are quite a few players on the Lions' roster in Madden 12 that aren't even on the team anymore, and they are also missing their free agent signings. All of that will be cleared up in the first roster update.
