Last week, the Detroit Lions were road favorites against the Minnesota Vikings for the first time in 30 years. The Lions made good on the odds and being named the favorites by winning the game in overtime by a field goal.
This week, the Lions are headed to Dallas to play the Cowboys. The Lions are not favored, however. The 2-1 Cowboys are currently favored by a point on most betting sites, according to Odds Shark. Some sites have the line set as even, meaning it is a pick'em game for bettors.
I suppose it's not too surprising the Lions aren't favored in this game. Although the Vikings were the home underdog last week, the Cowboys are a better team than Minnesota. Personally I think the homefield advantage for the Vikings is much bigger than what the Cowboys have in JerryWorld, but apparently the oddsmakers think the overall talent on the Cowboys is better.
The line for the Lions-Cowboys game actually opened at -3 for Dallas, so at the very least things have evened out a bit with the line dropping to -1 or even.
