Madden NFL 12 Roster Updates, Wild Card Weekend: Multiple Lions Receive Increases

The Madden NFL 12 roster update for the final two weeks of the regular season is set to go live on Friday. With the holidays, there hasn't been an update in some time. Unlikely many of the teams in the league, the Lions will likely continue to see updates after this one, due to the fact that they're in the playoffs. In this update, they've got 16 changes overall, and nine of those are changes to player overall rating.

Detroit is coming out well, though, with six of those changes being increases. That means only three are decreases, and they're mostly to the defensive line, which is somewhat surprising given the poor play of the secondary in Week 17, letting Matt Flynn walk all over them. That being said, the decreases are significant, with guys like Ndamukong Suh and Cliff Avril receiving decreases. Make the jump for a full list of Lions changes.

Increases

QB Matthew Stafford 88 to 89
TE Brandon Pettigrew 82 to 84
WR Calvin Johnson 97 to 98
WR Titus Young 72 to 74
OL Jeff Backus 81 to 84
DL Kyle Vanden Bosch 82 to 83

Decreases

DL Ndamukong Suh 94 to 93
DL Cliff Avril 87 to 86
CB Alphonso Smith 77 to 75
