2012 NFL Draft: Coastal Carolina Cornerback Josh Norman And Iowa State Tackle Kelechi Osemele Visit Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions managed keep to an eye on the NFL draft during the first day of free agency, hosting a pair of prospects on Tuesday: Coastal Carolina cornerback Josh Norman and Iowa State offensive tackle Kelechi Osemele.

Norman has gained notoriety after a strong performance at the East-West Shrine Game and earned an invite to the February Combine. He ran a disappointing 4.66 in the forty, but still has many of the elements NFL teams value in defensive backs, including an impressive frame (6'0", 197 pounds) and stellar production during his college career.

Osemele is a mountain of a man, checking in at 6'6" and 333 pounds, and projects to make the transition from left tackle in college to guard in the pros. He too was a combine invite, putting up 32 reps on the bench press and running a 5.36 forty. Many have tabbed him as a second day pick.
