The Madden NFL 13 cover vote has reached the semifinals, with 28 players now eliminated from contention and only four remaining. For the Detroit Lions, they've got a horse in the race: Calvin Johnson. He's made his way into the final four by dominating his competition, and his most recent victory in round three is the most impressive. Johnson beat fan favorite Rob Gronkowski to advance to the semis, putting up 63 percent on "Gronk."
↵Before that, he easily dispatched Arian Foster of the Houston Texans with 73 percent of the vote and Dwayne Bowe with a whopping 92 percent. In the semifinals though, Johnson has his toughest competition yet in Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers has had an easier time through though, beating Joe Haden and Marshawn Lynch, and most recently, barely edging Ray Rice of the Baltimore Ravens with 55 percent of the vote.
↵The winner of Johnson vs. Rodgers will take on the winner of Cam Newton vs. Patrick Willis to decide who will be on the cover. If you don't fear the Madden Curse for Megatron, head on over to the link at ESPN and vote. The match will run through April 18.
