2012 NFL Mock Draft: Detroit Lions Select OT Jonathan Martin

In Don Banks' 2012 NFL Mock Draft 5.0 on SI.com, the Detroit Lions select Stanford offensive tackle Jonathan Martin with the 23rd overall pick. Via Banks:

I'm now working under the assumption that the recent spate of pot-related incidents involving Lions players pretty much rules out taking North Alabama cornerback Janoris Jenkins, with his history of marijuana issues. Central Florida corner Josh Robinson remains a possibility, but Martin is too highly graded to pass on, even with the re-signing of veteran tackle Jeff Backus.

Martin protected Andrew Luck's blindside at Stanford, but his stock has fallen due to questions about his strength. The Lions could groom Martin to take over when Backus moves on or retires, or they might consider moving Martin to the right side of the offensive line.
