The Detroit Lions hosted West Virginia cornerback Keith Tandy, Weber State guard J.C. Oram and Purdue offensive tackle Dennis Kelly on pre-draft visits, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.
Tandy was an All-Big East First Team selection in his senior season, registering 60 tackles and four interceptions in 13 games for the Mountaineers. He is projected to go somewhere between the 5th and 7th rounds in the 2012 NFL Draft.
The Detroit Lions have not hid the fact that they are looking to improve their secondary this season.
Kelly is a 6-foot-8, 301-pound left tackle who earned All-Big 10 Honorable Mention for the Boilermakers. He is likely to be an unsigned free agent picked up by a team following the draft. Oram was an AP First Team All-American in the FCS and started 47 of his 48 games at Weber State.
