2012 NFL Mock Draft: Lions Select Jonathan Martin In Latest SB Nation Mock

The Detroit Lions seem to be settling in most mock drafts for either Alabama CB Janoris Jenkins or one of the slew of offensive tackles that will likely be available when they select 22nd overall.

The new SB Nation 2012 NFL Mock Draft is out now and while trade talks are muddling the top of the draft -- most of them involving approximately every team in the league being interesting in Texas A&M QB Ryan Tannehill -- the bottom area has been untouched which includes the Lions, obviously. As such, they stick to their usual mock draft guns and put together the Lions and OT Jonathan Martin from Stanford.

Detroit held on to Jeff Backus, but they need to be ready for life without him. Martin gives them some young depth and the eventual blind side protector for Matt Stafford, who really deserves better protection than he's had in Detroit.
