NFL Mock Draft 2012: Nick Perry Among Others Going To Lions In NFL.com Seven-Round Mock

Fresh off their first playoff appearance in 12 years, the Detroit Lions will look to build upon their success from last season by improving the team through the draft. With seven picks this year, one in every round except the sixth (they have two selections in the seventh round), the Lions will look to make every pick count.

Here is how NFL.com projected the Lions would select in their most recent mock draft:

1 (23) Nick Perry, DE, USC
2 (54) Mike Adams, OT, Ohio State
3 (85) Josh Norman, CB, Coastal Carolina
4 (117) Chris Rainey, RB/WR, Florida
5 (158) Ryan Lindley, QB, San Diego State
7 (219) Johnny Thomas, S, Oklahoma State
7 (230) B.J. Cunningham, WR, Michigan State

With the first two picks, NFL.com has the team working on both the offensive and defensive lines prior to drafting Coastal Carolina corner back, Josh Norman.
