2012 NFL Draft Results: Riley Reiff 'Super Excited To Be A Detroit Lion'

After the Detroit Lions made Iowa offensive lineman Riley Reiff their 2012 first round draft pick (23rd overall), the rising rookie spoke to the media about being drafted by the rising Detroit Lions and impressed The Oakland Press' Paula Pasche:

Reiff was a riot on a conference call with the Detroit media shortly after he was drafted. He sounded like he was way more comfortable sitting in the barn at his home in South Dakota waiting for the phone to ring than he would have been in glitzy surroundings of Manhattan.

He repeatedly said he was "super excited" to be a Lion. And he also said repeatedly that "whatever happens, happens" when it comes to where he will play this season.
