Round 2 Mock Draft: Lions Take Cornerback In Mocking The Draft Mock

There were two big positions that seemed to be mocked to the Detroit Lions during pre-draft mocks, offensive linemen and cornerbacks. The Lions have already taken half of those prophecies and made them come true by selecting Riley Reiff, an offensive tackle, in the first round. The biggest need for the Lions past that is their secondary, and Mocking The Draft's second round mock draft has the Lions unsurprisingly going for UCF cornerback Josh Robinson with their 54th overall selection.

The Lions got a great tackle in round one but still need to add a corner. Robinson is the best one on the board and he can also return kicks.

Having a solid kick returner is a bit less important now with so many touchbacks in the league thanks to the new kickoff rules, but it's always nice to have a great one on the squad. Robinson being the best corner on the board makes it a solid selection for Detroit as well.
