Lions Draft Grades: Head Scratching Moves By Detroit On Day Two

After making a solid selection on Day 1 by taking offensive tackle Riley Reiff from Iowa, the Detroit Lions made some questionable moves with their picks on Day 2 of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Opening the day by taking Oklahoma receiver Ryan Broyles at No. 54 in the second round, the Lions concluded the day by taking little known Louisiana-Lafayette cornerback Dwight Bentley in the third round at No. 85. With injuries to Broyles and the obscurity of Bentley, the picks have left the verdict out on the Lions second day selections.

Check out what SB Nation's Jerry Mallory had to say about the picks:

For those of you unable to watch the video, here's what he said:

"If any body guessed [these two picks] they should be professional fortune tellers or should be in the stock market," Mallory said. "Cause no one saw these two picks coming."

What were his thoughts on Bentley?

"The cornerback? We don't know who he is. I'm not gonna act like I know who he is, so we'll have to wait to see."
