The NFL has released the 2012 preseason schedule and the Detroit Lions' Week Two game will be televised nationally. The Baltimore Ravens will host the Lions on Friday Aug. 17 at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
The Lions will open play at undetermined time and date in Week One (Aug. 9-13) against the Cleveland Browns. After visiting Baltimore in Week Two, Detroit will travel to Oakland to play the Raiders for their Week Three (Aug. 23-26) matchup. The Lions will host the Buffalo Bills in their final preseason game in Week Four.
Preseason play officially begins on Sunday, Aug. 5 for the Hall of Game played in Canton, Ohio between the New Orleans Saints and the Arizona Cardinals. The game will be televised on the NFL Network at 8 p.m. EST.
