2012 NFL Draft: Lions Rookies Get Their Jersey Numbers

The Detroit Lions have had mixed reviews for their 2012 NFL Draft class, but they're happy with the haul, and presumably know what they're actually doing and plan to do with the players, so it is what it is. The new players will come in, work out some contracts and then hit the organized team activities and training camp, which is always fun stuff. But first, they've got to get situated with their numbers.

Tim Twentyman had us covered on Twitter:

For the record, that's Riley Reiff for No. 71, Ryan Broyles for No. 84, Bill Bentley for No. 28, Ronnell Lewis for No. 97, Tahir Whitehead for No. 59, Chris Greenwood for No. 33, Jonte Green for No. 36 and Travis Lewis for No. 50 - drafted in that order.

It's possible that the numbers will change - there could be numbers taken from training camp bodies and practice squad players, with the rookies eyeing some for the future if said players don't make it onto the final 53-man roster.
