Back on April 3, Detroit Lions first round 2011 pick and defensive tackle Nick Fairley was arrested on marijuana possession charges after police found a small amount of the drug in his car during a traffic stop.
His arraignment was scheduled for Monday morning, but it was announced by the Detroit Free Press on Monday that the arraignment is going to be postponed in order to give Fairley's lawyer more times to review the case. No new date has yet been announced.
No word is out on whether or not Fairley will get punished by the NFL's substance abuse policy. He is the third Detroit Lions player so far this offseason to get into trouble for marijuana possession, joining offensive tackle Johnny Culbreath and running back Mikel Leshoure.
