Lions' Titus Young, Louis Delmas Involved In Fight Last Week, According To Report

The Detroit Lions are currently going through their OTAs - that's organized team activities - before really getting going with training camp and things of that nature. Rookies and veterans alike are running through drills and doing all kinds of preliminary things, and for the Lions, that apparently includes fighting.

According to Anwar Richardson on Twitter, second-year wide receiver Titus Young missed OTAs on Monday due to a fight he had with safety Louis Delmas last week. Further more, Delmas is there, according to Richardson, and Young is apparently the instigator:

Presumably, that language wouldn't be used if the brunt of the fight wasn't on Young's shoulders. As it stands, it looks like he had a hot temper, threw the first punch, kick and or headbutt and is now being punished and being forced to cool off. Young had a strong 2011, with 48 receptions for 607 yards and six touchdowns.

It's been a tough year for the Lions' 2011 draft class, with Nick Fairley, Mikel Leshoure and Johnny Culbreath all getting busted for marijuana possession. Leshoure and Culbreath also missed the 2011 season on injured reserve, so through-and-through, things could be a fair bit better for these guys.
