Lions Training Camp: Detroit Signs Pat Boyle, Tracy Robertson

The Lions have brought on a pair of undrafted rookie free agents to the training camp roster with the signings of guard Pat Boyle (Temple) and defensive tackle Tracy Robertson (Baylor), the team reported on Wednesday.

This is especially interesting because Boyle was with the Lions earlier this offseason, but he was released when the team signed long snapper Matt Camilli. However, Camilli was released to make room for Boyle on the 90-man training camp roster.

Boyle was a first-team All-Mid American Conference honoree last year as a tackle.

Robertson led Baylor with 4.5 sacks and four quarterback hurries while compiling 23 tackles last season. Robertson signed with the Texans following the draft but was later released. Detroit released defensive tackle Michael Cosgrove (Idaho) to free up some room for Robertson.
