Detroit Lions Injury Update: Several Players Miss Practice Sunday

As reported earlier, running back Mikel Leshoure practiced Sunday for the Detroit Lions. Leshoure has missed most of training camp, including Friday's preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens, with a hamstring injury. If Leshoure's Sunday practice does indeed indicate a step forward in his return to health, he will still miss the first two games of 2012 with suspension after an offseason drug arrest. He has yet to play a game in the NFL.

Running back Stefan Logan did not practice Sunday. Logan injured his ankle in Friday's preseason game, and although he walked off the field on his own power and x-rays were negative, he still required crutches after the game, per the report.

Other players who missed practice include running back Jahvid Best, wide receiver Titus Young, defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch, defensive tackles Sammie Hill, Corey Williams and Andre Fluellen, linebacker Travis Lewis, cornerback Chris Greenwood, safety Louis Delmas and defensive back Don Carey.
