Lions' Titus Young Says Boise State Will Beat Michigan State

A former standout with the Boise St. Broncos, Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young made it known that he's fully behind his alma mater heading into Friday's huge showdown between Boise and the Michigan St. Spartans at Spartan Stadium. The 23-year-old receiver even went as far as to personally guarantee a Boise State victory to The Detroit News' Terry Foster.

"I expect a good game, but Boise is going to win," Young said. "I know that for a fact. Quote me."

Even though Young's Broncos are currently seven-point underdogs and will have to deal with a raucous Michigan State crowd, it's clear the outspoken receiver has an unwavering belief in his former coach Chris Peterson's ability to shake things up with creative play-calling.

Young will join fellow Boise alum and Lions teammate Kellen Moore to watch the action on Friday from the sidelines, and should probably expect to receive plenty of taunts from Spartan fans who don't see eye-to-eye with his bold prediction.
